How about this for an amazing experience: I had just moved back to town and was looking for a primary doctor. A friend of mine recommended Outreach (formally Healthcare for the Homeless) We both depend on Medicaid for our insurance. I made an appointment with Dr. Enid Trotman because my friend said she liked her. Whenever I see a new doctor, I put everything on the table, and quick. My time is valuable and I will not waste it with people who cannot meet my needs. So as I, a man with plenty of facial hair, told Dr. Trotman that I used to live as a woman and about my less-than-normal job, and as her face remained the warm, smiling, confident face she wore when she came in, I knew I had struck gold. You see, for people like me, good doctors are hard to find. My doctor and the staff at Outreach have proved to be nothing but competent and kind. There's been a total of one administrative error in over the year I've been going to Outreach. So far, the office staff have treated me with respect. If not, you'd hear about it (take a look at a few of my other reviews. I'm a tough sell).
